The extension is a great idea, I got stuck at work late Saturday so I couldn't make it to the post office in time and I barely leave my house during the week.

We're just back from the cottage, it's our kid's first day of school so there's madness all around! I hope to finish up the last details tonight & tomorrow and then pack up a box of extras partner and I agreed on. Right now I gotta wrangle my complete rat's nest curly hair into something work appropriate and get some biznass clothes on my bod and get outta here!

Oops! I tried to post several days ago and it looks like my post never made it. (I was out of KC and up to Minniapolis for the weekend to work.

I'm close but not finished yet. I'm going to see how the work week goes and if I can get it sent by Friday. Liking how things are turning out though.

I've been keeping in communication with my partner, BBM, so she knows I haven't forgotten about her.

I'm putting on the two tiny finishing touches to her item, and then everything is ready to mail.

In very sad news, my older DD's gecko, Rainbow, (her photo is in this swap thread), passed away this weekend.  Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry

Ok, since send outs are in just a couple days this is the last check in. How is everybody doing, will you be on time to send? And for everybody, including the early senders, are you happy with what you ended up making? Did it inspire you to create something for yourself?

I haven't had even one minute to finish my item, argh. Every night we get home from work then immediately run out to do errands. On Friday we're taking our new pop-up tent trailer to a local conservation area, I have a work thing there Saturday afternoon so we decided to camp for the weekend with the kids. Tonight is the only time I will have to craft, thank goodness it's nearly complete. Just need glue drying time, photographing time, wrapping time, and time to go to the post office. It sounds like a lot, doesn't it? Wish me luck! Good luck to you all!

I am really happy with what I made. I have been busy with other swaps, but did complete August's flower of the month stitchalong. And, if you've ever been my partner and seen how red isn't my favorite, you'll appreciate that I recently bought myself some maroon (which is school colors from my hs and my kids school) pants, but is out of my normal range for pants!

Have fun camping clm!

I'm doing good! It is supposed to be rainy and kind of cool this weekend and that makes me happy. I had such a nice time at yesterday's meet up. I also realize that I talk A LOT.  Tongue
