I finished this a while ago, but apparently forgot to post it on here. XD Better late than never, eh?

I made an illustration, hair accessory and boutonniere as fanart for the character Pike Trickfoot from Critical Role, and as a gift for the actress who plays Pike and her betrothed.

A lot of people like to start with a drawing or sketch for their idea, but I usually don't for kanzashi. I have an idea in my head and just start making it. So, after I wrapped up the hair accessory, I did this illustration to go with it.

And, I made this handkerchief as well - since I didn't think it the packet felt complete without something else.

I didn't think the character pike would go in for fancy packaging, so I used a simple lace ribbon and brown box packaging - slightly rustic. But inside, I used gold lame packing paper because Brian and Ashley are into wild fashion a bit haha.

I hand wrote a letter for Brian and a Scroll of Authenticity for the Pike-related items, like I did for my other Critical Role project (The Voice of the Tempest Reliquary), but didn't take photos of those items.

I wrote more about this project on my blog here: http://www.appledainty.com/projects-by-discipline/tsumami-zaiku/the-dawnflowers-trousseau/

A stunning set all around! You are an excellent 2D artist, as well! I love the dress design with the flowers all around. There are too few embellished handkerchiefs in the world currently, so good job! I'm sure they will both be delighted. Cheesy

Simply lovely, what a charming creation and such a sweet collection.
