This was for the darker side of Disney swap. It's a mini at quilt, I guess, about 12x12.

It's my second attempt at Foundation paper piecing and the pattern was from fandom in stitches. (Ace website!)

Many many mistakes, lots of ripping out seams, some ridiculously small pattern pieces. Eventually it was done. It is kinda magic how the seemingly random elements come together. I put on a border and followed the shape of the head with quilting

Very cool darling!  Well done.  Your color choices are perfectly spot on.

I've heard of that website. They make the coolest fandom patterns! I think you did an exquisite job! Foundation paper piecing sure makes my brain have to think backwards to go forward (and I have not done a piece that big yet). Well done.

I submitted a pattern I create to that site! A sort of Potter based winged key. I don't know if anybody ever successfully made one, some said they did but didn't share photos so no idea how successful they might have been. I sure learned a lot about paper piecing, not that it isn't still a baffle though because boy howdy is it ever weird doing things backwards and in reverse!

Love it! Well done, Edel! (I'm a Fandom In Stitches fan (sooo many great patterns, so little time!)! And official POD (Project of Doom - the HP bookshelf one) stalker - but hope to remedy it this year when I hope to start my own POD!!).
