Back when Meyer lemons were in season, my canning buddy and I decided to do a small batch of canning to kick-start the canning season (but we haven't done any canning since!). We've never made a concentrate before, and we've never used Meyer lemons before, but we ended up with 3 half pints of each (plus a smidgen of overage). They came out such a lovely color, and now that it's summer, that lemonade concentrate will be put to good use!

I can't remember where the recipes were from, but I can find out if anyone is interested (my friend keeps the canning journal because she's way more organized than I am Smiley ).

Sounds delicious!

They are! The syrup is especially good, but I also love the lavender and lemon flavor combo.

Sounds so delicious. I was just explaining to the oldest kid about Meyer lemons and Key limes, he is solidly confused about how they can taste so different from the regular ordinary kind. They do though! You could eat slices of Meyer lemons, they're super tasty.

Very delicious! And, I didn't realize that there was such a taste difference, either, but now I'll be sure to seek them out whenever they're in season. I'm also a huge fan of Cara Cara oranges now... the flavor is so different from the "standard" naval orange. I feel like it has "notes of brown sugar" Cheesy

Do you just add water to make lemonade?
