Some combination of my longish legs, my tallish chair, and my sewing table's wide-ish skirt means that I have had it set on 2x4 scraps for years.

I finally took those scraps and cut them into uniform pieces. Then I drilled a depression in the top for the sewing table's legs to nestle into. Finally I glued felt to the bottom as recommended by the manufacturer of the LVP flooring I recently installed.

I didn't sand or finish them in any way. Maybe someday, maybe not.  Roll Eyes

You'll only get about 1" (2.5cm) lift out of this. If you need more, perhaps a 4x4?  Kiss

A good and simple way to make use of whatever scraps you've got left. Sometimes the most basic of things are what we have been missing right under our noses.
