I joined the Craft a Craftster Friend Doll Swap because who doesn't love a handmade doll. (I'll post the doll after the swap is over.)  While deciding on an outfit and checking my stash I came across some cherry fabric and decided a cute summer dress would be perfect...(or so I though...)  I am not a seamstress by any means and as many tutorials I watched and tried to create a pattern for a rag doll style the dress didn't fit... but it did fit my daughters doll so all in all it was a win.

Off the doll

On the doll - It fits perfectly!   (I can't remember the brand of the doll, she's from Target and the same size as the AG Welly Wishers)
Now my daughter wants more dress for all her other dolls.  At least this was a happy mistake.

It is very cute and looks nicely made as well. You chose a very sweet fabric with just the right sized print.

I'm not online as much as I used to be, don't panic if it takes a while for me to reply to things Smiley.

It's adorable! I've never made doll clothes before, because I can't imagine making something so detailed on such a small scale. Kudos to you!
