Crafting through my hoard of supplies...

Thinking about going more zero waste... anyone else?  How about a swap of medium to large box with items to encourage a reduced waste life and household?

Currently in discussion for what size we wish this to be.

Tentatively scheduling a 2 week sign up starting around 7th of August and sending four weeks later in September...

Feel free to submit your thoughts in thread

Oh, that sounds quite interesting actually! What time frame were you thinking? I probably wouldn't be able to join until August.

I'm participating in Plastic Free July this year, so this would be perfect!

This is something I'd totally be up for depending on timing and swap requirements. While my family is definitely not "zero waste," I encourage as minimum of waste as possible, and there's always room for improvement! I gotta say, with a family of four, and sometimes only having one bag of trash for the week, that's pretty darn good!

I might be interested in this. I'm trying to live with less waste and less plastic.

I would be interested. I've been hoping to make some household things like cleaning towels, paper towels and stuff like that so I can stop spending so much on those things! I'm in it more for money saving, though I would like to have less trash to take out too!

Someone said there were rounds of a swap called frugal living... let's check for that and see if it's up the right alley and maybe we can do another round?

Here's a Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle Swap way back from 2010.

Here's Frugal Living Rd 6 that ladybugsandbumblebees hosted.

Both of these swaps seem to have elements that we are discussing here.

Def  going to check out those former rounds BBM!

I am interested! Sometimes it gets depressing to think of the things I have low to zero control over. So it feels good to make changes that work for me. Yay for being an adult!!
