I've been looking for something big and pretty for garden picking, and I found this flat basket at a rummage sale for $1. The rope I had in my stash, I used two pieces with the ends separated to thread through the weave on the edges. Stitched some fabric scraps on to hold it together, and ta-da!

Inaugural use: edible flowers and some wild strawberries. <3

It came together very nicely! I would have hemmed the little scraps up a little so that they wouldn't snag or unravel at the edges, but I think you picked a very nice colour theme and it's a great find at $1 at the rummage sale I think! Good job sprucing it up!
