PB, I can't remember if I warned you in the card or not, but I'd save the vanilla latte soaps for your hands.  They have coarse ground coffee grinds as the 'vanilla bean specks', and true to their name, they are in fact coarse.  Great for scrubbing hands, but a bit scratchy on more delicate areas.

That hat! That embroidered dish towel! Hokey smokes! And the idea of wrapping everything in dishtowels? Genius!

I received three fabulous hoops today from LeapFeetFirst! I am not an embroiderer (though I've given it a shot and would like to try again) and am ASTOUNDED at such intricate tidy text work! And the sprinkle fabric makes me smile. I'll need to find some of my own for ... well ... no reason, I just feel like I need it. Wink

Thank you Melanie! They will be going up in either the kitchen or the craft room after I'm done ogling that insane stitching awhile longer!

I'm seriously drooling over the felted hat and all the macaron soaps but it's a good thing I don't live near MJ. Otherwise I might cast a spell over that adorable kitchen witch to bring her flying my way. And if you're odd, Mistress Jennie, then so am I. So far I've only read my way through to the bread section of the cookbook that patty_o_furniture sent to me because I keep getting distracted by how good so many of these recipes sound.

Bahaha scratchy bottoms. Yes, I was warned.

Abbee, I sent a day late, so technically not the same amount of time ;P it was worth it though. Lots of extra little details got added that last night Cheesy

OMG, I love that sprinkle fabric. Beautiful stitches too!

fluffypants- I am so glad you like your hoops! I scoured my local fabric stores to find the best fabric to stitch on, but I couldn't find anything baking themed that I liked. I finally tried Joanne's and that's where I found the sprinkle fabric! As soon as I saw it, I knew it was perfect!

I received the most amazing swap package from fluffypants! I was so excited to open it when it arrived that I forgot to take a photo of the amazing donut wrapping paper on the outside of the package. Trust me- it was epic!

The first thing I unwrapped was a kickass new apron for my DH. He is definitely the baker in our family, and loves to make pretzels, so this is perfect! I didn't get a shot of the back but the pretzel ends are actually the ties. So clever!

Next up was this intriguing package. I love googly eyes, but I was a little confused. So I set them aside and unwrapped the package...

To find this amazing painting! I love the colors and the fact that it looks like a retro advertisement.

I am guessing that you all figured out what the googly eyes were for, didn't you...  Grin

I laughed forever when I put the googly eyes on Mary Berry. It is sheer perfection!!

Fluffypants also included some yummy Jaffa Cakes- which I've never had but now love, and some yummy looking tea.

Thanks for everything Mary!

DH looks ready to dig into the flour. Homemade pretzels would have been great for the beer hop in Asheville and would have gone over well with our margaritas back at the house, too.  Grin Love a man who can bake!

Mary Berry as a cartoon character was great. But with google eyes? Beyond funny!
