I crocheted this owl basket for my partner in Use The Good Beads Swap R-2. Smiley

I used this pattern I found on Ravelry: https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/owl-crochet-basket
   (there's a free version here: https://www.bhg.com/crafts/knitting/crocheting-projects/crochet-owl-basket/)

The pattern calls for 4 strands of bulky weight yarn (or 2 strands of super bulky) held together - I used 6 strands of aran weight yarn & an 11.5 mm hook.

I wanted the eyes to look the same, so I crocheted the second one left handed - it took a few tries to get started & the stitches arent quite as even, but it turned out ok. Smiley

(My cat tried to steal it when it was just a half finished basket, but once it became an owl, it was way too scary. Cheesy)

That is so very cool, and I never would have thought to try to crochet left handed for the eyes to be the same. Well done.

That is a lot of strands, I wasn't expecting that at all! Wow, very cool. I am so impressed you did one eye left handed for symmetry, you are a complete master. This looks so great, the face is super expressive which is crazy since it's all one colour, it's magical. I love it!
