Okay, what about a swap that focuses on art-in-motion? Things like mobiles, automata, pop-up books, balancing or rocking sculptures, wind-up music boxes with something that revolves, toys with moving parts... there are many possibilities!

Because the projects may be a bit ambitious, Im thinking we could limit it to one item, medium or large (as agreed upon by swap partners).

My preferred timing would be signups mid-July and send outs end of August. Any interest? Id be willing to take the plunge and host (my very first time... eek!)

These kinds of things are a long-term obsession of mine! If not a swap, then maybe a craft-along.

I've never done one before, but a new and exciting topic! I'd be in!

I am actually in the midst of planning an automaton for my mister. It's really a huge endeavor to figure out the mechanisms for the actions I want. I could participate in a craft-along but my swapping dance card is full and I'm working a job that eats up lots of my time right now.

This is wonderful.

I'm not sure if that timing would work for me, but I'm fascinated by the concept.

Ugh, it's like Thanos, ok?  the long E is the feminine ending.  (Also, I prefer *not* to destroy the universe when possible.)

I adore this idea, but know that I'm not up for it in the next couple months. If it happens sooner, rather than later, I will excitedly stalk the gallery. If it happens much later in summer, I might jump in.

I think this one will wait a bit. I have made commitments to a few things close to home (some volunteer work and also a garage sale to get rid of household clutter). Maybe later in the summer, or even fall.
