I chanced upon this thread today and Im disappointed that there aren't more pictures already! But that said! I'm so excited for you! It's amazing I managed to get here to see the whole thing develop over time and I'm waiting for the next instalment already!

I'm really happy that I've come across this thread just as you're starting it up! I really can't wait to see the progress on this project. The initial carvings to get the design out look really  promising! I hope that you'll share some sketches so that we  can visualise just how it's going to look like when it's done sometime toon!

Next installment.  I will have more photos in a couple of days.  I haven't been keeping up with my photo journaling, so I will get more photos soon.  In the meantime, this is what I have.  One side of this pole.






It took me two whole days to put all the dots in the coral.  That's two days of seven hours each day.

We are scheduled to put this in the ground on September 10th, so I am working fast.
