Ooh, the shawl is just lovely. What a nice colour and such a delicate looking pattern.
I love those bowls and how they look on your shelf. That's so cheerful and inspiring. Your studio looks like a very welcoming space.

Jemimah, I'm soooo glad you like your package!  I had a wonderful time making them for you, and I'm so glad to have USED the good stuff!  Especially for someone who truly loves and appreciates beautiful materials, and the love and care that goes into handmade things.  Cheesy

Whoa two fabulous shawls. And I love those baskets and the owl and the wristlets.

Awesome gallery. I can't wait for round three of this swap!

Finally pictures of the beautiful pocket belt Wulf made for me. The pretty colourful pocket panels are upholstery fabric, the lacing is silk (the most lovely purple, green and blue!), the purple teal and black ties include silk again. Even the pocket lining is a black pattern, and the backside (additional secret zipper pockets!) me and bodies of the pockets are black too. And I love it!

This is it, with three big pocket panels (pretty hard to get everything in one picture because it is very long). The deep and roomy front pockets have velcro for quick and easy access.

This is the backside with the zipper pockets

And this is me wearing it today:

Wulf, thank you so much, I really love it!

I'm so jealous of you, anna!  I'm participating in a craft fair next weekend, and I NEED something like this to hold my money in!  *Supposedly*, DH has a fanny pack for me on back order from Amazon.  Tongue  If it doesn't come in time, I'll just wear the apron a wonderful Craftster sent to me in a swap a million years ago.  Grin

So glad it fits! I took one that you had on your Pinterest and added lacing it so it could be adjustable for shape and size to a certain degree, but it's always a gamble.

The funny thing is that the upholstery fabric that makes up the main part of it, was something I thought of as soon as I read 'purple' as one of your favourite colours. But then when pulled it out, I was surprised because I'd remembered it being paisley. Oh well, the colours were even more perfect than I'd remembered. But then part way through the build I found a piece of purple paisley that was obviously the one I'd actually remembered in the first place, but it wasn't nearly as good as the ones I'd used instead.

I hope it's practical  I realized too late that I shouldn't have cut the fronts of the pouches so low - they won't hold as much stuff as they ought to. But otherwise it's a design that I quite like, and I think I might make it again.  Certainly a great way to use interesting fabrics.
