I would love to do a Teesha Moore patch swap.  We could either do just a single patch or we could do a small collection of related patches, maybe five, that the recipient could turn into whatever they wish.

There's been plenty that have been done!  Cheesy  Look it up in the list of swaps that are finished.  craftADDchick usually organizes them.

This theme is usually very popular, people request them in other swaps even.  craftADDchick has hosted 9 out of 10 of these ones & there have been 5 other hosts for 4 variations. Check out the list in that link for some incredible galleries & inspirations. I've got some alternate technique tutorials listed in my profile here too. You really cannot go wrong with a TM patch swap!

I would definitely be interested in this, either as a small (1 patch) swap or a slightly larger (2-5 patches) swap. I really like the idea of these and would enjoy building a collection, even though I think I would probably just be keeping them in a folder of cool stuff. Cheesy

Edit: also, I'm going to choose all new topics to shake things up a bit! Already excited and this is only a pre-discussion!

Am willing to Personal Swap for patches if anyone is interested in the meantime!

There are many small, easy things you can make with just a few patches.  Glasses case, notebook cover, coin purse, etc. I'm halfway done with a kitty ear headband for my daughter.  The ears are a single patch cut in half.

I am in a crazy crunch right now, but as soon as I get over the hump, I can set up a new round. Curiousfae mentioned it at the Asheville meetup, and we thought summer would be ideal! I can start signups this weekend, even!

So, I had a minor house crisis that I had to deal with (all sorted) and then I headed out on the 8th grade DC trip. This week has been all about the end of year activities at school, but Friday at 10:50 am, I am free!

I just sent a message to Inselaeffchen to see if she wanted to organize the next round. I'll wait to hear back from her, and then we can go from there!

Isn't it frustrating when real life encroaches on hobby time?  Cheesy I suffer from this frequently... Glad to hear you were able to get through all right!

Keeping an eye on this one.

Real life is quite mental here as well. We're just packing for a Group Scout Camp tomorrow to Sunday. Wink

I've replied to craftADDchick already, but wanted to roll it out here as well:

Time is currently flying past, and we're off to Orlando for 3 weeks come 28th. I should have access to internet there though, but only have my tablet with me so copy and paste etc could be a bit wonky.

Option is now: I could set up the swap tonight or Sunday evening. Then run sign up until say 26th? Means I could do quick partnering up before we head to the airport on 27th.

Crafting time would be 6-8 weeks if that's ok with all? Means I can join in. If we'd do just 4 weeks I couldn't take part because of holiday.

If the sign up time is too short then we'd have to wait until end of July if I'm supposed to organise/co-organise the swap.

Sooo... let me know what you think.

Yay! I'm on board with this plan and timeline. Smiley  Cheesy

Fatewineroses - I know Cindy and I had a very hectic life lately, so this swap has been on hold for a loooong time! (is that a year now?!?!?!)

However, I hope that life will slow down a bit now and that we can make it a more regular swap again (3-4 times a year maybe?).

So don't worry. Are you not allowed a swap due to the maximum or other timings not working?

All: Option 1: Start sign up on Sunday until 25/26th then craft for 6 - 8 weeks?

Option 2: Sign up 26th for 3 weeks ish and then 4-6 weeks.

Option 3: Sign up end of July and then do a 4-6 week thing?

Ok, time is running away from me now (GMT), so you guys discuss here and I will see whether I have to set up the swap on Sunday or we wait until end of July. I don't mind either way.

Inselaeffchen - Due to work issues and my mom dying exacerbating my mental state...I had agreed to join the Travelers Journal swap. Im very excited about it, but hesitant to even do that swap. TM swaps are one of my favorites though. If you guys decide to do
It soon, I will wait for the next one. Ive been here long enough to know that either there is always going to be another one...and if there isnt, host it yourself!  Grin

I'm open to whatever timeline works for everyone! I'd like to be done before summer ends, because I have a feeling that school is going to be crazy this year (rolling out a new initiative that could prove to be stressful, at least at first).

Define "Summer" for me please, @craftADDchick. Our school holidays here in Europe are only around 6 weeks. ;-)

LOL! June, July, August Smiley

And, because of our lack of snow days this school year, we have an extra long vacation (the longest I've had in 25 years of teaching!).

Ok... life seems to run away from me again...

Sooo... how does everyone think about a sign up period from 27/6? Until 23/7? Are we allowed sign ups for so long??

That means that I can check and maybe work on the partnering while I'm away and then just have to deal with the sending out of partners once back home in the UK.

Then 4-8 weeks crafting time?

Probably should look up the FAQ on timings again... Shocked

Good morning.

Things got a bit hectic here with vacation prep and actually getting on vacation.

We're still in a hotel until Monday, and our days will be packed. After that we will move into a villa, and things should calm down a bit, so I will set up sign ups then.

Sorry for the delay..
