We recently bought a 1978 doublewide mobile home.  It's on a really beautiful property, which makes up for the funkiness of the house.




The wall between the master bedroom and bath has these odd niches.  I suspect there used to be super classy amber colored pebble plastic panels separating the rooms.  (Which would match the window on the front door.)



I got kind of excited when I saw them, thinking what I would do with them. 
First thing involved a floral tablecloth from the dollar store, but it was much too garish.  I flipped the panels over to reveal the more softly colored back.  Still pretty bright, but better than the original white on white on white.



The other day, I found a prettier tablecloth and installed it today...



And both versions got matching trash can makeovers
