Up until now, I haven't really messed with Artist trading coins, but I got a set from Alpha Stamps and decided I really like them.  Here's some Controlled Mayhem to brighten your day: five coins and five pockets decorated in a circus theme. I used some metallic paint to brighten up the edge of each coin in shiny gold. Grommets were added to the upper left corner of each pocket, and they were all bound with a binder ring to create a chunky book. A tassel made with fun and fuzzy fibers (and a sweet silver elephant) was added to the ring for maximum circus fun.

Here are the pockets before binding. I used a rubber stamp to make the title on the first pocket. Old tickets look fab on the fronts of the rest.

Circus fun!

Let's pop those coins in and bind it up.

I'm sure that's enough photos for you, but if you are a glutton for punishment and crave more, they can be found on my blog. Meanwhile, here's one for the road:

Thanks!
"Controlled Mayhem" is from a set of circus stamps from G45. Sadly, I think they've been discontinued, but here's what the entire set looks like. Maybe you could find them on ebay or etsy.

Holy h*ck! I have never heard of artist trading coins, but now I am in danger of falling down a rabbit hole (or maybe a wishing well, because coins?)! This are super cool and even superer with the pockets!

What is the diameter of an artist trading coin?

Yeah, I wasnt expecting to like them, but they are fun. Theyre 2 1/2 in diameter. You probably need some.  Cheesy

Very classy presentation for the coins--making a little booklet out of individual pockets for them really elevates the whole affair to something truly special!  One can only imagine the fabulous prizes such coins could win or buy you from the imaginary circus that accepts such currency . . .

Those are really cool and I love the booklet.

If anyone is interested I am thinking about starting a round 3 for an ATCcoin swap.
