Ditto on the weird peanut taffy in the orange and black paper.

I am amazed at the lack of Halloween stuff in my local craft and thrift shops. They usually have something year round. Luckily I have tons of Halloween stuff in my stash to work with!

Growing up, the sweet tarts were always the scrapings at the bottom of the barrel. My partner said "raisins", and then "almond joy or mounds" which is fine by me because I'd eat those! Haha.

Checking in! Life is chaotic - I'm hopping around to week-long dogsitting jobs and our laundry washer is in my crafting space, dryer in the living room, and other stuff everywhere. I do have an idea of what I want to craft, just have to figure out what medium is best.

Circus peanuts!

Been stalking my partner, Missing Willow - wow has she made some amazing stuff!

It's not that I don't want to swap, it's that I often don't have time.  But feel free to ask (especially if it's one that's not too time consuming).

I'm not a huge fan of the black and orange paper candy either. I don't like hot candy either. No one ever eats the spicy jaw breakers.

Are circus peanuts ever good? OMG-mints! LOL! You know those weird grandma caramels with the white center? Those are never ever ever good.

The black and orange things are not even edible. I do love candy corn though.

I just have to stand on my soap box (or trick or treating plastic pumpkin) and say that I do enjoy circus peanuts. Or at least I did back when I ate tons of sugar. And funnily enough, I would probably enjoy those more now than the over-sweet chocolate like reeses or something, but I can't get past the color and the "what the heck are they made of?"-ness.

I also just want to add that I fell down an internet rabbit hole and have learned that we have circus peanuts to thank for the invention of lucky charms. The creator chopped circus peanuts into cheerios and was inspired.

Anything licorice is the worst. I mean, just yuck.

I have found that the off colors of circus peanuts are actually pretty good -- I like the white and pink ones! Cheesy
