So far, barring two small things, I have been working completely from stash.  Grin

Good think I personally know how awesome your stash is! Wink

Lol.  Not me.  I've been hitting the craft store hard.  But that's been kinda nice.  I actually hadn't bought supplies for anything for quite a while so I'd had funds stashed up in my crafting budget.

HA! Same. I completely failed to get what I needed yesterday...so another trip to the store for me!

SWAP CHECK IN!

If you had to do a Signature Bake, what genre of bake would you hope for?

I'd say probably cakes or something of that nature. I'm rubbish with pastries (the few times I've tried), and biscuits seem a bit risky with how picky Paul and Mary could be.

Hmm....probably a tray bake. I'm more of a "throw it all in a pan and see what happens" kind of baker. Grin

Probably a quick bread. Banana Bread or Blueberry Muffins or Beer Bread.

No idea which I would hope for, I like all kinds of baking. But I think I'd crush bread week.

Bread or cake.  Thinking about baking a coconut cake this weekend.

I would hope to bake... anything! but cupcakes are my fort. That said, I had an audition for the Great Canadian Baking Show in its first season, and we had to bring something we considered a signature bake. It took me SO long to decide on one thing! In the end I brought a chocolate peanut butter cake.

Ooh, I forgot you did that fluffypants! What was the whole process like (if you have time and want to share  Wink)? I tried to look up the application form for GBBO to share it here for amusement but I guess they have it on lock-down when they're not accepting new apps.

My signature bake would have to be yeast breads or cookies. Won the Okmulgee Pecan Festival baking contest grand prize several years ago with a cheddar-pecan bread I created. I've also taken several first place finishes at our county fair with various cookies.
