The survivalist in me liked the pita on a campfire challenge.

That was my favorite too! I also love when they do crazy sculptural things with bread.

Choux pastry? No problem. Puff Pastry? Love to eat it but am intimidated as all get out when expected to make it. Same is true for filo dough. How in the world do you get it or strudel dough so thin?

I love the biscuit challenges where they make a container and the biscuits that go in it!

Can I chime in with my LEAST favorite challenge?  Making a biscuit chandelier.  I just kept talking out loud in my living room, telling Paul what a stupid challenge that was.  Seriously?  Dumb.

I suppose I should clarify.  I liked that it was a unique challenge, that the bakers couldn't just google image search for 'biscuit chandeliers' and had to come up with something truly one-of-a-kind on their own.  But I also thought it was pretty obvious WHY no one has done one before.  They are dumb, and they will just fall apart.
