Hi There!  I just wanted to pop in here and share a few pics of some little granny square pouches I made for all my new Cster Friends I met at the Asheville Meetup!

It all started with the idea that I had nowhere to safely keep the trading cards I was going to be receiving.  I had scrolled across the granny pouch idea on Pinterest and thought "What a cute idea!".  Plus I have tons of left over bits of yarn in my stash that I could definitely bust by whipping these babies out.  Plus I liked that you could use these for really anything, be it trading cards, storing your shopper cards or even to store your earbuds while traveling.

Here they all are together

and here are a few more pics of a few individual ones:

And here's a shot with my trading cards for scale Smiley

The square pattern is one I picked out of my book of granny square patterns, and you just fold three corners together and sew the seam to form the pouch.  Then I added two rows of single crochet around the border of the open "mouth" and added a fun button for the closer. I tried to vary the buttons a bit too to make then unique (and of course I didn't get a button shot of them all together lol).

Anyhoo, thanks for looking! Smiley
