Kwality570 sent me a wonderful package!!  As I mentioned yesterday, I told my partners that I enjoy being cozy and AMFKinney sent me a lovely cowl to keep me warm and cozy in the winter. Well, it turns out that when Kwality thinks cozy, she thinks cowl as well  Cheesy. She used her loom to create this soft double layer cowl out of merino wool. I dont think Ive ever owned a cowl before and now Im the proud owner of two! Thank you so much Kwality, I love it and am really looking forward to wearing it when it gets colder (though Im considering just wearing it now, but 1. I dont know that itll look so cute with a short sleeved v-neck and 2. While itll be convenient to dry any sweat on my neck as I attempt to wear it in the nearly 100 heat, it just wont have the same cozy effect as wearing it in the cold).  I like how itll go with most outfits due to the variety of colors!

Kwality also used fun and vibrant colors to create this set of notecards for me  I may just use them in future swaps! I had mentioned to my partners that Id like to start a bullet journal, so Kwality included some nice pens and sticky notes that I can use to make some beautiful spreads. She also included some shiny sticker paper and a handy magnetic pincushion.

I know there were a lot of succulent lovers in this swap and I want to warn you all that you may want to sit down before seeing this final image of amazingness
Are you sitting? Seriously, you need to sit. Okay, here it is:

My very own crocheted cactus complete with a flower on top and little buds on the sides!! This is the perfect example of an item I always wanted though I never realized it until I had it! Im not exactly green thumbed (read I forget to water my plants) so a beautiful green cactus that will never turn into a brown shrunken husk is ideal for me! And just when you think it cant get any better, it does! The cactus is a pincushion and the green and white buds on the sides are pins!! This cactus can make any project something to look forward to!

Thank you so much Kwality! I am extremely pleased with everything you sent me and I really enjoyed getting to know you throughout the swap!

Procrastination is killing me slowly...I'm going to put an end to that first thing tomorrow!

Ooooh, I love that hand-loomed cowl!!! Im a sucker for woven cloth.

And the totes are great!

Oh, and of course I love the crochet cactus (they are very IN this season, arent they?)

I received from seeuudee last night! My baby and I tore into it (baby slightly more literally, tearing paper is a favorite) and oh. my. goodness. I cannot believe how wonderful everything is!

The wrapped goods! Plus a lovely card, a sturdy but pretty bookmark, and yummy squishy candy that smells like childhood (the front flavor is bubblegum and lives up perfectly!)

First up, because the baby was tearing at this package as I was reading the card, is the amazing thing made for her:

A busy blanket with every conceivable bauble and trim and fabric texture, with lots of buttons and snaps an overall clip and zipper (with cute tiny shapes hidden inside!). The sheer amount of detail in this is just astounding. It's already well loved and there was a mild struggle to pull it out of the chubby hands for a quick picture, and this will definitely grow with her! (chubby hands for scale)

As if that wasn't already well and above, the next package was this stunning gem:

Love. Love. Love. Tiny meticulous quilting, butterfly, corduroy (with details from the actual pair of corduroys used!), and absolutely perfect colors. Oh, and did I mention it's a perfect sized storage cube? (cue staging with the closest things, which of course are baby toys and books these days):

But wait. There's yet.another! This one has handles, and eyelet lace detail in the quilting:

And side pockets, and beautiful stitching on every surface inside and out.

And because this package wasn't already super over the top, some fun extras!

I am in awe. Thank you, thank you, thank you. It was definitely intimidating in this swap to be crafting for a master, and while I still don't feel worthy I am so thrilled to have these wonderful pieces to aspire to Smiley

Oh..my..gosh...seriously...you guys, I think we have re-written what a MEDIUM is! Hah! That busy blanket is the coolest I have ever seen, and the paper piecing on that is perfect. Please seeuudee

Of course I love the crochet cactus, and all those pretty cards, and the beautiful cowl! You all are so generous and talented!

And, with that, we wrap up this swap!

Give me a hands up if you had a good time! Double  hands up if you would be interested in another round either later this year or next year?

Dear Craftster "FAMmunity,"

I love you all.

See you where we all end up!

It makes me so happy that you love everything. The busy blanket started off being a lot smaller, but I just kept finding interesting bits that I had to add in, so it kinda grew into rather a beast Cheesy My sewing machine hated me by the end of it!

And my hands are both up, loved this swap and would definitely join in with another round.
