Not so sure what to title this... decoration?
Made for StainedMushroom in round 2 of the Positive Affirmation swap, I went with a different sort of hooplah. The cap is velvet, there are lots of french knots, some vintage doily bits, a paper clay face, eyelash yarn, & eyelet lace trim.

The green beads were a last minute addition, I think they make a good frame. I finished them before sending Smiley.

My partner had this affirmation pinned, I just loved it so added it to the back as a sort of quiet, private reminder that external things may be interesting or pretty to look at but the real magic is most often hidden out of sight.

This is amazing and a nice companion piece of sorts to your recent mushroom dotee too!  Very serene and elegant in appearance.

Thanks friends Smiley. I made something similar but different for another partner in that swap that I'm about to post.

This is fantastic.  I love how serene the face is, and how the lace is reflective of the delicacy of a mushrooms gills.

Thanks Smiley. The face is paper clay pressed into a mold. Looking at it I almost wish I'd added some paint for shading but that may just be my idea of what a face looks like, a mushroom face should be pale all over, right?
