It's been a hot minute since we had an altered tin swap. I was thinking of one where we remove the lids, so we end up with an open tin for display, something like this:

Everyone could choose a few theme ideas, and your partner would craft to your theme. Like it?

Also, really like the hand holding the jammy dodger like cookie.  I want to crawl inside that tin.  And eat that cookie.

I've never met you in person, but I'm pretty sure you're too big to squeeze into that tin. And the tart is made of resin.

Not your day. Cheesy

Well, if you provided a helpful bottle labeled 'Drink me', I could shrink down to fit inside the tin.  Geez rack!

I think I will. It will have to be late May or June; I have a lot of travel coming up.

I love tiny things!

It's not that I don't want to swap, it's that I often don't have time.  But feel free to ask (especially if it's one that's not too time consuming).

I do love altered tins. That example is terrific too Grin I'd definitely be open to an open tin guideline. I have a few that I have received that way but have never made one like that.

I have never done an altered tin, but have always wanted to do one...and receive one!

I vote for June!

Would an altered spice or tea tin be acceptable - I have a huge number of tea tins of various sizes now.

That'd be fine!

I'm still looking at late June before I'll be around enough to organize. If anyone can't wait and wants to host a similar swap, that's perfectly ok with me. If not, I'll try to get something up the week of the 17th.

That timeline looks great to me racky!  After being too tired to swap for a while, I'm suddenly in the Use the Good Stuff & the Great British Bakeoff Swap, and looking forward to this one after I finish those swaps.  Smiley

Probably better for me too  - I have let my craft room fall into a state of horrific proportions and I need to work on that and my garden for a bit.
