Many years ago Craftster folk started making these incredible I-Spy Quilts, and inspired I started collecting fabrics (mainly every cyber Monday...).
After years of feeling completely overwhelmed by trying to figure out optimal use of my fabrics (I wanted to get the most out of each and every graphic), and moving my giant I-Spy fabric bin twice, and with my daughter quickly outgrowning optimal I-spy age, I had the great idea of using a pixelated image to anchor the quilt.
So I found an image of a pig (in honour of her trusty stuffed sidekick), and found enough appropriately colours fabrics in my I-Spy bin to make it work.
Sadly many awesome fabrics didnt fit the colour scheme, and ideally I would have had more variation in items, but all in all I am happy.
A huge thank you to everyone who gifted and swapped fabrics with me way back before 2015...
As for quilting details, I did a self binding with the backing (loved this method), and quilted it with my regular sewing machine.

This is AWESOME!  And even starting to outgrown I-Spy, there is still the popularity of pixilated quilts, and the utteradorableness of the pig.  Well done.

This is totally fabulous! I so admire people who have the ability to make gorgeous quilts. This one is so much fun, with the I-Spy and pixilated elements. Ill bet she LOVES it! I can imagine her passing it down as a family heirloom, and lots of little grandchildren playing I-Spy with it, too!

Your take on the I-Spy quilt is fantastic! I love that you brought it together with a pixelated image. So cute!
