So, I finally have my first bowls completed, glazed and fired.  I'm quite happy with my beginning.

My favorite:

It's like you went into our cupboards and picked out favourite bits of pottery, I swear I have dishes that match everything you made here! We collect them from all over the place. I have 3 little blue bowls just that shade. I would happily add anything of yours to our stash, beautiful work!

Wow, those look great! This is one of those crafts that Id love to try. Do you own a kiln or do you have access to one somewhere else?

There is an art center in our area and all they do is pottery.  I have a friend who was a founding member of the center, and she has agreed to mentor me until I figure out what to do.  When I'm finished there, I have another friend who has a kiln, and I will be paying her for kiln time.

How great to have a mentor! Your first bowls are really beautiful.
