I'm late posting them but I made Valentine Felties for my kids & Grands this year.  They're all about 6-8" tall, hand sewn & stuffed.

Granddaughter likes cute & cuddly so I designed a hedgehog for her.  After trying felt & fringe, I decided on lace for her spines.  The lace was white until I sprayed it with watered down paint to achieve a mottled look.

Grandson loves otters.  This was the easiest to design & sew.

Since she was little, daughter has wanted a Clydesdale.  I crafted a wire skeleton to make him sturdy.  Didn't turn out quite as I wanted but not too bad for a first try---and she is pleased with it.

Her partner received a dolphin---because I don't know enough of what he likes.  It's sitting on a shelf at work so he must not be too displeased.

These are SO cute! Love the hedgehog, and the Clydesdale looks like it must have been difficult!

Those are terrific and the hedgehog's lacy spikes are just amazingly clever. Well done!

Thanks for featuring my felties.  They are one of my favorite crafts to do.  The otter & Clydesdale are my designs completely but I adapted patterns for the others from ones I found online.  I've designed numerous patterns in the past & have a request for a flamingo now.  Need to begin it soon.
