I've been caring for my infant nephew since last week while my SIL is in the hospital. I'M not sure how long I will be caring for him. This is totally not my area of expertise being 40 years old and no children of my own lol! I used to babysit for cousins like 20 years ago lol! But my nephew has to be fed though a feeding tube every 3 hours and I've had him round the clock the past few days... Luckily he is a pretty good baby . Wink But I am a bit paranoid so I don't get much sleep lol!

You can do it!!!  Cheesy And if you have any questions feel free to message me, I have a few years experience working with infants in a preschool setting and I have a toddler who was recently an infant  Wink

Thats a really big deal. How lucky your SIL is to have you! I think Id be pretty intimidated by having to feed through a tube - and every 3 hours! You totally got this, though. Im sure youre doing great already and what a neat opportunity to bond with your nephew. Not many aunties and uncles get to do that. Youre sure to have a special relationship for life. I hope your SIL recovers quickly and she can be with baby again soon. ❤️

I miss the days when I worked part time and could more or less arrange my sleep schedule to suit myself. These days I tend to be a night owl, and sometimes I'll get in a bad habit where I stay up too late and go to work short-slept, then take a "nap" when I get home from work... for like 3 hours. Then I'm up at 8:30 PM refreshed and ready to... never fall asleep on time again.

My garden is a work in progress this year. Last year I hardly did anything with it, so my plan for this year was to plant a bunch of native plants on the theory they would require less work (and less water!). I ordered a bunch of them online from a local nonprofit in March to try to avoid the perils of impulse buys at the garden center but I was foiled! April saw a bunch of unusual weather in the area, and more than half of my order died - plus most of the ones I did get are just sprouts instead of established plants. I went to the garden center to get a couple of supplementary native bushes, and also bought a bunch of tomatoes and basil and moss roses, so now I've got to keep up with yard work this year after all if I want them to live.

I've made good progress on the main crafted item, but not sure what the secondary items will be yet. I'm so glad we have the option of purchasing the secondaries!

I hope your sister in law is doing better this week and all is going well with your nephew! How wonderful that you were able to step in and help! If you have any questions about the feeding tube, feel free to message me. My son has been tube fed his whole life, so Ive gained some insights over the years.

I finished my medium for one partner and have one more medium to go!! My smalls are mostly complete and just require a little bit of final detail attention. Im really happy with how the medium came out and hope my partner likes it too!

I have realized that send-outs on my kid's last day of school.  It seems like most of you (myself included) are pretty close to being ready to send, but you all think pushing back send outs a week to May 31 would be helpful, I am good with that. Let me know!

I feel like I'll get everything done by the original date, but another week to fiddle would be great!

I finally got a nice chunk of time to spend on one of Kartianas items today. It still needs another step, but that is a hurry up and wait kind of thing. I have another item almost complete, except for the part I cant do until the last minute. And I picked up supplies today for one more thing. I could send out on time, but Ill take the extra days!
