Today I met some other new(ish) mothers at an art museum. We walked around and then ate lunch at the museum cafe, all with our babies! It was wonderful and borderline surreal.

I'm definitely a night owl, which has been a challenge with a small person who has been waking up at 6am or earlier recently. Fingers crossed that the blackout curtain I just hung fixes that!  Wink

My head has been foggy the last week or two. I'm behind on crafting for this swap because my art doll is taking a lot of my crafting energy since getting back from Asheville. I have some solid plans though and don't think I'll have any problems wrapping things up on time.

I used to be a night owl, but these days I'm neither a night owl nor a morning bird. I am always super exhausted in the evenings and then can't wake up in the mornings. On the weekends, I'll sleep 10 or 12 hours if my husband doesn't drag me out of bed, but I'm still in bed at the normal time even after sleeping in.

I'm having so much fun watching my 2nd year clematis growing and blooming that I am posting daily pictures on Instagram. So, a rhyme for you:

Mary, Mary, quite contrary,
How does your garden grow?
With silver bells, and cockle shells,
And pretty maids all in a row

What does your garden grow?

My garden mainly grows weeds these days. Grin

Something good- I helped someone find a way to get community assistance with medical bills. Made me feel good!

Im a total night owl. It often helps because I work at a sleep lab!

UGH haven't had the ability to check in the past week. Whats with work for us all going nuts??? I am 2 weeks away from a major go live for a project where it seems the whole organization is plotting against it! I'm the project manager so I don't take it personal but geese people let me just do my job!

Not sure if it happened at the same point but my good thing that happened....I have lived in my new home since July of last year, my old home has sat empty. It was on the market for 4 days back last May and went into a bidding war which was great BUT it hasn't closed in a YEAR!!!! Its been one thing after another and a year of carrying costs, heating it, fixing it, mowing, going over there every other day to make sure its still standing and not destroyed! Well I finally got a closing. Wednesday at 2pm its no longer my responsibility! It still doesn't feel real and I am a ball of nerves waiting for this to happen as its been such a nightmare I'm not a bit pessimistic waiting for what bad thing will happen next! But, a closing date is good new on that chapter of my life! My wallet will feel better too!

I have been managing to craft away for my new friends though, which keeps me happy and keeps me going!

Total morning person. Like kittykill, I get up between 5 - 530am every morning without an alarm.

Me as well! No alarm I just wake up and cannot for the life of me sleep in. Its 7 am here I have been up for 2 hrs, laundry is done, kitchens cleaned and mopped, now for everyone else to get up so I can change sheets because apparently its rude to snag them out from under their sleeping bodies!

No cat naps though, if I nap its because I am seriously. sick!

I go to bed between 10-1am but still back up at the butt crack of dawn

I actually slept in this morning. 6am. Woohoo!

I was so excited when I got home last night because the supplies for one of my projects arrived. I'll get that put together today, and hopefully get started on my big project this weekend as well.
