Raw, gluten-free, vegan, protein-rich.

I started with this recipe but doubled it and added so many alternates.

Made with dates, dried figs, and unsulphered dried apricots, the nuts are pecan, walnut and cashew. I rolled some of them in shredded coconut, some in cocoa powder.

A school-safe version is possible with seeds in place of nuts and you can add crunch by subbing popped millet, amaranth, or quinoa for some or all of the coconut.

Outside of a dog, a book is man's best friend.  Inside of a dog, it's too dark to read.
