I think I would prefer something that doesn't have to be hot.  I tend to burn myself.  I'll check with my local craft store.  I'm sure they will have something that will work.

pinokeeo that cup assistant is brilliant!

rantyhippie I love your Halloween card ornaments. They're super cute and fun Smiley And the beaded ones are pretty too!

New dolly WIP:

I have to trim her hair, apply her lashes, and make her clothes but I'm super proud of her little sneer. Putting her head back on was a hecking pain in the neck because the 17" dolls' heads are made of a thicker vinyl than the small dolls. That means I could just give it a light squeeze and pop it back on. Instead, I had to use my blow dryer to heat up the vinyl around the neck hole so it would soften so that I could put it back.

rantyhippie I love your Halloween ornaments and witch wallhangings.

redheadwiththread I love you MH clothes and dolls. I feel inspired to makes some clothes for my Blythe and Susie Sad Eye dolls.

I've spent the last month or so knitting 21 dishcloths. They're being donated to a homeless shelter where my Dad volunteers.

Paintings I made for the 4x6 Art Swap.

I made this way back before Easter to hang on my door. I bought the egg and the dollar store and repainted it.

The dishcloths are a nice way to give back to a community.  I always like it when somebody puts one in my stocking at Christmas.  Good for you.

I just finished making 30 of these cool Vintage Mickey Mouse Velcro bags that my art teacher friend is going to use in replacement of plastic ziplock bags for individual bags of Legos.

I haven't been crafting as much as i'd like - - chemo side effects.  Embarrassed

But I've done some kids clothing for the Guild shop. I've been using scraps from my sister's sewing to make baby ribbon skirts that I pair with onesies. So far I've done about a dozen.

I've also been up-cycling boys shirts.

And I've got a laundry hamper full of stuff waiting for me to work on - baby quilts, doll blankets, more up-cycling stuff, more ribbon skirt material, and some adult clothes to work on too. Hopefully I'll get some stuff done this weekend.

I always felt okay for two or three days following chemo, then started feeling better again for a day or so before my next treatment. Every other day I just felt too wasted to do anything, but it wasn't that bad after my surgeries. I even had dh bring my portable sewing machine to the hospital so I could sew in my room. Nurses thought I was crazy!

Seeing all your crafts is so good for me, I need the motivation. I've been in a rut. I can crochet here and there when we're in the car or in bed at night but I still haven't really unpacked from the Asheville trip and I certainly haven't cleaned my studio. Now gardening season is upon us and I am not ready for that either, ugh! I'm going to try to do something productive with this nice sunny day...
