TTC, beautiful shawl but you spin such gorgeous yarn that I'm really waiting to see what you create with your own yarn. The brown alpaca/wool blend looks so smooth and well balanced that I bet it's going to be a joy to work up. And the colors of the indigo-coffee dyes are right up my alley. Love, love, love those skeins!

Right now I'm playing with some Noro pencil roving and my drop spindles. I have several balls of single ply completed but haven't combined them yet.

Thanks! I'm always so nervous to use the yarn I make for some reason. I guess I'm afraid of 'wasting' it on a project I might not like. I still have some pretty spindle-spun singles waiting on a project, and it's fiber I received in a swap 8 or 9 years ago. Tongue But, I finally have a project for it. Life's too short to not use the good stuff, right?

I can't wait to see your Noro all plied up! I'm working on the second roll of the autumn-like colorway. I'm hoping to have enough for a shawl when it's all said and done.

That's a funny story about your purse!  I did that one year when I wanted a scarf to match my outfit.  I didn't have one so I made one!  Cheesy

I did have a nice-looking purse, but the straps on it broke the first time I used it. It was inexpensive, but still. Sad I'll probably order replacement straps for it.

I put together this awesome tool cart that is intended for mechanics' tools.  It came unassembled, and will become the property of DS2.  These carts would be fantastic for storing craft gadgets and gizmos.

Oh man, work is eating my life.

The challenge for November is to craft warm and cosy things. And it's never too early to make holiday gifts. In fact, if you are just getting started you'd better get cracking!

Cute ornaments, BigBangMama!

We went to a toga party this Halloween, sadly, I didn't get a picture of my DH's. They're made from cheap sheets, dyed with RIT dyes.

I made a cozy bandana cowl for my nephew. The yarn is an alpaca/acrylic blend and so very soft.

My SIL's birthday is coming up, so I made her a tote bag.

My boys got me some Merino roving for my birthday so that I could make them some new Winter hats. Here is the yarn I spun up for that purpose.

They also got me a grab bag of random colors, so I spun some of it up into this fractal yarn.

I've had this handspun in my stash for years, spun from roving I received in a swap. I finally used it to make a hat and neckwarmer set for DS2.

It's been snowing here all week, so I'm all about crafting warm and cozy things.  Cheesy
