Everyone's craftiness is outstanding as always.  The suffragette cards are wonderful.

When considering birthday adventures, I must admit that vasectomy does not cross my mind lol.  Hoping your friend healed well, TheMistressT.

DD took me out for a sip and paint evening for my birthday, and here is my messterpiece:

We had such a fun time!  There was no pressure and the instructor painted along with us.  Everyone worked at his/her own pace.

Wonderful! Really captures that misty, magical feel of Paris.

Very lovely piece. Not a mess at all. I'm getting definite Midnight in Paris vibes. Wink

Your dreamy painting of Paris is just lovely, JS. Those wine and canvas nights are a blast.

I've been trying to use up stash. Mostly succeeding, but still managing to add to it here and there.

I made this wool hat for Operation Gratitude...then bought some closeout superwash to make a few more.

I made some dishcloths for our new camper.

I also whipped up this plastic bag holder for the camper from a FQ that's been in my stash for a couple years. I love this fabric.

My boys requested sleeping bags for their teddy bears (I only took pictures of one before they disappeared into the chaos of toys), they're pretty much the same excepting color. Both totally from stash.

I had quite a bit of one type of acrylic yarn with no intended project, so it got turned into this giant granny square baby blanket. I've never done a granny square before - it worked up so fast! Love that!

I'm also working on 3 quilts from stash. Darn JoAnn's and their FQ sales. Wink A year or so back, I had bought a ton of FQs for about US$0.80 each and all the sashing/backing fabrics and batting on sale, so these quilts were a bit irresistible. Finally got around to making them. Here's some in-process pics:

Wow!!!

JS ~ Your painting is beautiful and makes me feel so calm  Smiley

tendstowardschaos ~ Everything is great but the standouts to me are the little loops for hanging on your dishcloths  Cheesy and the last two quilts, so bright and cheery!

Those quilts are going to be so wonderful when you finish them, TTC! What finished size are you planning for each to be?

Thank you all for the kind remarks about my painting Smiley

The giant granny square baby blanket looks cheerful and toasty, a perfect swaddler or even a lap blanket for someone.
Operation Gratitude will certainly appreciate the hats, TTC.

Thanks!

The first two quilts are going to be twin sized (72"x90"), and the third is going to be an odd size (about 75"x80"-ish). I'm probably going to donate at least one of the twin quilts to my son's school fundraising auction, the rainbow one is in memory of the baby we lost earlier this year (and that one is mine).

TTC, so very sorry to learn of your loss, but what a beautiful way to commemorate your child. {{{{{{hugs}}}}}}
