We're on craftster because we love to create. Why should we settle for what we currently are?

I understood at lumpy though!  LOL

I discovered the bag of magazines I thought I had passed on were actually left in the back of my car!  And we're supposedly getting snowed in tomorrow again, though it has yet to actually happen.  So, tomorrow will be a great day to start the magazine journal.

Krafty Karasu, you are completely right about how so many book stitching directions are written out.  Seeing her do it made it so much easier.

Craftylittlemonkey, thanks for setting up the craftalong thread!

I find joy in creating and helping others create not just jewelry and crafts but best of all, the life they want.

LOL.  good!  I just couldn't believe that "lumpy" was the best I could come up with.  stupid sinus infection!!!

oh yay!!!  let me know how it goes.  and stay warm!

even with some of the drawings and pictures, the stitching still makes no sense.  and then they've got these fancy Xs, zig-zags, and all kinds of things.  I just want something easy that will hold well.  and she accomplished that.

Will swap for ceramic bisque steer skulls!
Always in need of things like these!!!

I can usually figure those drawings out, I think because I struggled so hard learning to follow a crochet pattern. I mostly just made stuff up as it went so got a feel for string, lol. But a video does really help so much. I would like to try more of those fancy bindings where the thread makes images, I'll keep practicing until I get better at the basics then give something more complicated a go.
