These seed/feed/rice bags are made from material that is just too good to simply toss in the trash.

I was given a similar one probably nearly a decade ago along with a bunch of seed bags to sew myself. Now this is my thrid batch! They're so dang durable and can hold a lot of weight as well as be set down in the snow or on the wet ground for a few moments w/o getting all dirty or letting the contents get wet. This time I tried some new-to-me handle options.

They aren't cute, but they work great and they utilize this great material for years more before it heads to the landfill.

I love your reconstructed shopping totes!
They look every bit as pretty as the ones they sell in the shops...but yours are better because you repurposed packaging materials you already had on hand.  Nicely done!  Smiley

They look great! I love seeing them all in a collection like that. You're inspiring me to get going on my feed bag collection. Smiley

That's so great! I think about doing that with dog food bags sometimes, but I never had. I like the rope and grommet handle style...because....GROMMETS!

I am such a big fan of grommets! The bag I was given that I modeled mine on had grommets and I've always gone that way in the past. I decided to try making handles from the bag material this time and I think I might be a convert! The grommet and rope style tend to kind of get "lost" on the interior and flop around, while the others stand up right where you can find/need them. We'll see how it goes as they get used.

Fun!  I've got some feed bags that could use this as inspiration.  Great job.
