I kept seeing diamond painting ads on Instagram and it looked like fun. A lot of kits are geared toward kids or older people, bu I finally found a neat one to try. This is a kit from Walmart, the brand is Dazz. It fits in a 16x20 frame.

I am confused. Is this cross stitch? Tiny gems glued on a background? It looks really cool whatever it is.

Thanks! Its like a cross stitch pattern on sticky canvas but instead of thread you put tiny gems onto the canvas. Its super sparkly but doesnt show up well in the picture.

I love that cat.  There was someone doing those gem "paintings" in my craft group.  It looked interesting and they come out looking really cool.

Yeah - I saw those at Michaels and at the John Bead Outlet - they are pretty cool looking.  I like that cat pattern you did.

I like Kit-Kat, unless I'm with 4 or more people.

Thank you!  It is actually super easy to do- especially if you get the attachment that picks up multiple diamonds at a time.  A lot of kits are labeled beginner to advanced and I would definitely recommend a beginner kit.  That way you learn how to do it and if you end up not liking it you won't have a huge canvas laying around.
