Claim date range 2/1/19-2/28/19 (some claims made near the end of the month will have a ship by date in the following month)
Date to send item by: 2 weeks after the date of the claim

- Has fully read the swap Info Guide: YES
- Has successfully completed two swaps as a participant: YES
- Is not organizing more than three swaps right now: YES
- Will recruit a co-organizer or give all details to a swap Moderator if this swap has more than 25 participants: YES

- If outside the US, understands that a mailing receipt copy is required for this swap: YES

Details of swap:

This is an ongoing swap: Claim an item from the list of the last person who posted and post your own list in response. It makes a chain. When we get to the end of the month, the very last person to post a list will be the first person to post a list at the beginning of the next month.

The size of the claim should be a medium item. This means 2 or more crafting hours (this is not cooking time, drying time, etc.. waiting around for something to set up.......it is craft time for the average crafter) or supplies worth at least $20.

ABOUT SENDING AND RECEIVING...
1) When you send to the person you have claimed, you MUST PM the organizer with the delivery confirmation # or if you are outside the US, you need to either PM the customs number on your receipt from the post office or upload a copy of your post office receipt.

2) When you receive a claim, you MUST PM the organizer so she can update the main list.

3) We are asking that everyone post once a week in the discussion/gallery board--so that we know you're still here with us.  Obviously, if you join mid month, you would only need to post for the weeks you are in the swap (the last 2 weeks cuz you weren't in the swap during the first 2 weeks).

4) Feedback will be given once all of your packages have been received.

5) Please include craft, supplies and misc items on your list-just in case the swap slows down. The more on the list, the more the swap will keep going.

6) For claims: 1st time swapper 1 claim (until package is in transit with proof). Regular Swapper 2 claims (until package is in transit with proof)Friend of Craftster 3 claims (until package is in transit with proof)

If you want to participate, information to send to: kittykill

THIS IS PSYCHYE'S LIST! YOU WILL BE CLAIMING HER.

This is my second claim (1 in transit, 0 received).

I'm Jessica. I live in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada with my husband and our black cats, Kofi and Keemun (brother and sister). My day job is in family medicine research, and I also have some side gigs of craft beer festival/event organization and writing (Ive had some travel articles published but not yet any novels which are my focus). Beyond that, I love to read, grow stuff I can eat, support local food/beer/arts/music, play piano, and make things. For crafting, Im a jack of all crafts, master of none. Ive tried almost everything, but my main crafts right now tend to be sewing, embroidery, jewellery, and simple art styles.

Favourite colours: black, teal, turquoise, eggplant purple, hot pink
Favourite themes: bats, skulls, maps/globes, pigeons, raccoons, books, black cats, masquerade masks, the moon, stars, lightning bolts, Ouija boards & planchettes, tea, craft beer, history overall (favourite eras: Regency England, 1920s), lovely landscapes

Crafted Items

Sewn
Small evening attire party purse, something like this: https://www.pinterest.ca/pin/150307706301401427/ or this: https://www.pinterest.ca/pin/150307706301401423/ (black leather-look, or hot pink, or black & white chevrons or thick stripes, or leopard as pictured; if theres a strap in there somewhere, even better)
Fabric scarf, NON-infinity, darks or brights, patterned welcome - as long as its not rough
Zippered hip bag (maybe Hipslinger style) - mainly for carrying cash & tokens at beer festivals

Embroidery
Hamilton, Ontario, Canada themed embroidery hoop (it might be weird to do a hoop for a city you dont live in, but Ive received 2 from other swappers)
A white-on-black embroidered hoop for my gallery wall (constellations? something else?); inspiration: https://www.pinterest.ca/psyche13/crafts-hooplas-id-like-to-own/

Art & Illustration
A perpetual/birthday calendar - illustrated is great, and if the illustrations feel very seasonal, even better
Art I can tape up on my glass wall at work (must be work-appropriate so nothing too creepy, sexy, or focused on a specific face - in other words, most of my Pinterest art board is out [but maybe something like mountains/landscapes, pigeons, maps... etc])
Art I CANT put up at work, inspired by my Pinterest Art board, and Ill find somewhere to put it - https://www.pinterest.ca/psyche13/art/ - lady-focused, lowbrow, gritty, creepy, etc.

Knit/Crochet
Little scrubby wash cloths for the kitchen
Crochet market bag, e.g.: https://www.pinterest.ca/pin/150307706301401523/ or this: https://www.pinterest.ca/pin/150307706301401528/ (I like that neutral colour for these)
A big slouchy hat without anything on the top (i.e., no pompom) - dark purple or black would be best (I already have a teal one)

Other
Pendant necklace - silvertone chain, not overly long. A pendant, possibly related to one of my likes (made in any medium) or a nice stone (my favourites: amethyst, turquoise, and clear crystals). Some inspiration: https://www.pinterest.ca/psyche13/self-jewellery-accessories/
A neat planter for little succulents or other plants

Craft Type could Vary
Redo a cardigan or a shirt I can wear to work - with trim, embroidery, or silhouettes; inspiration: https://www.pinterest.ca/psyche13/self-stylin/
Something veggie gardening themed to make me even more excited about planting season - could be plant markers, or a cool flower pot, or garden themed art, etc
Something Lord of the Rings and/or The Hobbit themed to sit on my fantasy book shelf - I already have a hobbit hole. Some inspiration here: https://www.pinterest.ca/psyche13/themes-fandomania/
Something Regency/Victorian romance themed to sit on my romance book shelf
A surprise inspired by my Craft Swap Wishlist board (https://www.pinterest.ca/psyche13/crafts-swap-wishlist/) or expand to my whole extensive Pinterest (but ignore the boards that start with Create- those are my collections of tutorials, not stuff I necessarily like myself)

Supplies & Purchase-ables
A craft book, used is fine - sewing & jewellery making/beading are my top hits for books (I already own these ones: https://www.goodreads.com/review/list/2709023-jessica?shelf=own-craftiness
Vintage paper ephemera for crafting
Holiday-themed vintage postcards (one of my collections)
Nice beads; interesting charms
Fabulous patterned fabric; inspiration: https://www.pinterest.ca/psyche13/crafts-fabric/
Woodburning kit
Enamel pins - kitschy/vintage or based on my themes or modern illustration art
Foodie goodies specific to your local area

I claim Psyche for craft book(s?) and a small art.

First claim, due Feb 18.

Hi, I'm Ann, in Maryland (US), introvert mother of a little extrovert who turns 6 this month, maker of stuff especially machine embroidery.  Allergic to tobacco (please don't send unwashables if someone in your house smokes.)  No earrings or strong scents, please. Reused/thrifted/recycled/etc supplies always encouraged if you have them. (sorry if this looks a little short; there is *so much stuff* on the pinboard & etsy list linked)

colors for me: anything nature-inspired especially dark greens. My daughter is super fond of pink.

**My child is having a butterfly-themed birthday party at a local nature center on the 23rd; decorations, stickers, materials for craft projects for up to 20 kindergarteners, etc would all be great if you can reasonably expect them to get here in time!

**I would love little care packages-- whatever you think the modern crafty equivalent is of, say, a mix CD and a weird toy or new gel pen & a ziplock of cookies.  Something happy, silly & low commitment.  Fond of fun fabrics (little bits fine), ephemera, stickers, decorative machine threads, tiny stamps, embroidered patches, fun art supplies, etc.

*anything off my swap pinterest, here: https://www.pinterest.com/interfacemasque/swap-ideas/

*headwrap scarves in stretchy knit non-animal hair natural fibers (so, cotton unless you have silk or linen knits floating around!) like these: https://www.pinterest.com/pin/523895369135756924/  ...solid is fine, patchwork or fun patterns are great too.  (I love the look here: https://www.pinterest.com/pin/523895369149579254/)

*Midori-style notebook fun (traveler size); I could use pockets, a pencil pouch or other holder, recycled-paper inserts (especially if they're something a ball-point pen can easily write on; I have some cool scrappy ones from calluna that are more arty), or another cover to store filled inserts.

*Sturdy magazine holders-- we got one as a Highlights freebie that's made of nylon fabric with stiffening in the sides, and pockets to insert stiffeners to the front & back so it folds flat when not in use.  The cereal box ones from kittykill's quickie tutorial are cute, but won't last in my daughter's chaotic orbit.

*we can always use more reusable snack bags.

*fun bobbypins, especially ones where the decoration goes straight off the end instead of being stuck to the side, like these: https://www.pinterest.com/pin/523895369146945163/ or these: https://www.pinterest.com/pin/AdEPf2iwoQ2nJ8-yFk9EOXW89SNgbrsSN4DRApphlT7ENAjiDyH_HaU/

*Something inspired by my paleoart pinboard: https://www.pinterest.com/interfacemasque/doggerland-paleoart/

*Gift certificates to Urban Threads, Embroidery Library, or etsy are always welcome to fund my machine embroidery habit.  Decorative thread is great, too.

*Anything from my etsy supplies list, either bought or crafted: https://www.etsy.com/people/thanate/favorites/suppliest/

*Something inspired by my wild things out of the wild wood pinboard: https://www.pinterest.com/interfacemasque/wild-things-out-of-the-wild-wood/

*Unscented soy or beeswax candles, any size.  (not fancy shapes, tho, since then I'll feel bad burning them!)

*small tabletop zen garden w/ mini rake & lid to keep the dust out (& the sand in!)

*Currently drooling over these Darn Good Yarns: sari silk ribbon yarn,  especially “pickled pear”
cotton t-shirt yarn(“irish dream” of course)
lace weight silk yarn, especially watercolors, exotic rainbow, date night, and maybe tidepool.  (their “enchanted forest” is super blue which makes me sad)
recycled silk lux adventure irish hills, maybe indigo amethyst.

I am claiming Kartiana for a needle book and a hair clip.
(1/0/0)

Hello all! My name is Chelsea (My friends call me Red) I live In Blue Springs MO, USA with my Boyfriend of 6 years (Hedge) and our Orange cat (Trip). I have two wonderful, creative room mates. All together we have 5 kitties total.

My favorite colors (Combinations) are Earth tones, Greens/browns/lacy off whites/teals/eggplant ect. I'm witchy, a bit morbid and a bit sunshiney.
I enjoy spending lots of time outside, going camping many times throughout the year. We even take the cat sometimes! I attend multiple festivals a year and typically sell knit hats and other small jewelry and trinkets. I love to garden, hike, mushroom/herb hunt and get down and artsy with things.

Right now a few of my favorite fandoms/things are Miyazaki/Ghibli related things, Adventure time, Zelda, American gods and always a Harry potter fan. I adore mushrooms in all shapes and sizes. I love Avocados! I'm a huge fan of Alphonse Mucha. I'm inspired by trees, snails, science, geometry, cultures, cooking, fungi, permaculture, self-sustainable living, nature and the universe. Very much a wild nature child. I enjoy all things space and psychedelia related.

I have no allergies. I don't enjoy cigarette smoke, but if it's washable, it's no biggie.

I claim Grab a Coffee for notecards & maybe something sewn

2/0/0, send by Feb 21

Hi, I'm Ann, in Maryland (US), introvert mother of a little extrovert who turns 6 this month, maker of stuff especially machine embroidery.  Allergic to tobacco (please don't send unwashables if someone in your house smokes.)  No earrings or strong scents, please. Reused/thrifted/recycled/etc supplies always encouraged if you have them.

colors for me: anything nature-inspired especially dark greens.

*Currently drooling over these Darn Good Yarns: sari silk ribbon yarn,  especially pickled pear
cotton t-shirt yarn(irish dream of course)
lace weight silk yarn, especially watercolors, exotic rainbow, date night, and maybe tidepool.  (their enchanted forest is super blue which makes me sad)
recycled silk lux adventure irish hills, maybe indigo amethyst.
