Wait, somebody was mean to your mom? What kind of awful person would do such a horrible thing? She is such a sweetheart, my goodness. Give her hugs from us, XO.

Obviously someone who didn't deserve to to even know Clara let alone have her working for them. A pox on them, preferably one that's really itchy and unpleasant but not life threatening. I wouldn't wish death on anyone.

Heehee, thank you CLM and kbrison!  Yeah, one of the managers was a meanie.  My mom was really sad to give that job up because she made some really good friends at that place, but it's for the best.  She's busy trying to fix up a tiny room that my brother gave her to be her studio.  Smiley  I'm going to take her to get some of those tiny canvasses so that she can paint some of them for the NIH Children's Inn.  Smiley

I hope you'll show off your mom's studio space when it's ready for her to work in. The mini canvases too please!

We still haven't fully unpacked from the trip. I started a job within days of getting home and have just been exhausted and incapable of anything extra except crochet which I can do in the car or in bed before passing out, it's really all I can manage. I will get my squirrel finished and also sort out the kid's souvenirs to give them very soon, maybe this evening if I can find the energy to tidy up the craftastrophe that is my studio, lol. I did finally order something from the cafepress shop, or I passed it on to the mister who I think has put the order in. I went with pj's because I liked that shirt style best. Hopefully Abbee's size advice works out for me, I think it should. I love having mementos of that fun time, what a great vacation we had! Thank you all so much for everything you did to make things special. You people are the BEST!

Definitely CLM, but it may take a while for my brother to clear out that room. My mom is gonna start practicing her sketching before painting so that might take a while too.  Roll Eyes

But I did cut up the bookmarks we all made together and posted it on the fabric paper thread.  They are sooo wonderful and I can't wait to share them.

That was an amazing meetup!!!  So much love and energy went into making it a success.  Smiley
