Hi all!

I designed a simple stuffie pattern a while back that we use at Small Things Matter in our Crafting for Charity Program.  You can read about Hiro here: https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=453237.0

Anyhow a couple of weeks ago I found out that Takoma Park resident Todd Carter was doing a Frida Kahlo Street Art piece called Night of 1000 Fridas.  I thought it would be a fun way for us to interact with our community and hopefully let others know about our crafting program so I whipped up a little Frida stuffie.  Various businesses hosted the Fridas.  Ours was at the Richardson School of Music. There are tons of Fridas on Facebook.  They are tagged #1KFridas.  You can see a few of them on our page:

Heehee, thanks MistressT and BigBangMomma!  I had lots of fun making her.

It was really a fantastic exhibit!  The best part of it for me was that I found out more about Frida's life.

How neat to use that pattern for characters. You can make everybody!

Adorable little Frida and that's awesome that your community did a Night of 1,000 Fridas event!

I righted your sideways and upside down photos:

Thank you Patraw.  I was being lazy.  I'm kinda going crazy getting together the auction this year.
