We just moved into a new house, and everything is painted flat white.
Even so, this bathroom needed white curtains.
The lower parts are made from a cutwork  tablecloth hand embroidered in gray.  There's enough left for the kitchen window if we want curtains there.
The valences are crocheted dresser scarves.  I bleached them and threaded them onto a skinny rod.  Oooh, super crafty!
