My walls? If so, THANK YOU! I love it.  Wink It's Venetian plaster (acrylic, not authentic lime-based) tinted with Benj. Moore's Champion Cobalt which is a lot darker as paint than the VP turned out.  Shocked

One of the neatest things about Venetian Plaster is that it looks quite textured almost like it has a velvety nap, but it's very smooth. It's a few to several layers of semi-translucent material which is one reason for the variation in tones, the other is that when you burnish it at the end the differences in texture of the substrate telegraph through.

Coral is exactly the accent color I have been thinking, but we'll see what really happens when we actual get to furnish the room. And also gold-ish in the form of brasses and then woodtones from the floor, mouldings, and the bookcases I am planning to build.

Ya, it's really gorgeous. I love the depth of the shade and the wonderful textures. Following along with your home renos is really fun and super educational too.
When we retire to our after-the-kids-move-out smaller forever house I hope to paint the walls my favourite colours instead of this resellable neutral stuff that's all over every room. Oh well, I have colourful things to brighten the place up, that's good enough for now.

Thank you! It's fun to be able to share!

The goal is to only go out of this house feet first, so we're throwing caution to the wind in terms of considering resale and it_is_a_treat!

I love the renovation photos!  Im working on a TM patch bag for our Cub Scout leader.  She is incredibly dedicated and never gets enough credit for her hard work.  Its 4-H fair week, so the ducks and chickens are keeping me company.

OMG Powerhouseofthecell I have just the things to include in my ATC claim to you, wah, I have been sitting on this stash for ages not knowing why I haven't simply given it away. Now I know. Now I know. Do not finish that bag until you get a parcel from me!

And also, that looks amazing!
