I've been thinking...

We all tend to share finished projects only, why not a board for sharing WIPs?

Some projects take a looooong time to finish, why not share some in progress photos?
Some projects have been put aside for some time, why not share it and get a push to pick it up again?
Some projects are boring but necessary, like a hat your cousin's neighbor's neice's best friend would LOVE and you didn't have the strength to say NO!, or a new curtain for your bedroom, why not rant about it and get some motivation to get it done?
Some projects have suffered from creative block, why not share your troubles and get some inspiration to continue?

Anyway, you get the point! Let's share some wips and craft along together!

I'm working on the Mandala Madness CAL. I'm doing up to part 6, which i just finished today. I just need to add a black single crochet border, weave in all the ends, block, etc. I want to mount it on a board for hanging.

I just picked up my House Divided blanket again - it was started in 2017, so hopefully I can finish it this year! It's supposed to be a gift for my cousin & her husband - one likes Michigan (blue & gold) and one likes Michigan State (green & white). Cheesy

Last progress photo:

(the third row is almost complete now - I just need to buy more grey yarn)

It's based on this pattern & it will eventually look kind of like this:

(I did change my mind on the different color corner squares - they'll just be the same grey as the rest of it)

What a great idea! It's fun to see what others are working on while or "while" they are working on them and this could inspire us to pick up those set-aside projects! WOO!

That mandala is gorgeous so far, Audio!

Jellybean, what a great idea for a blanket!

My main unfinished WIP is replacing all the flooring on our 2nd floor. I have finished two bedrooms (and their closets), both bathrooms (1.5), and the hallway 99.5%. What is left is a "transition piece" at the top of the stairs - that .5% of the hallway and the 3rd bedroom. That last bedroom will be more of a total remodel of that space which is my craft studio, our library, and the auxiliary guest bedroom. Here are some of the finished rooms!

I plan to start clearing that last room after Valentine's Day. Hoo boy.

The Mistress T - WOW look at those amazing spaces! I wish my house looked that crisp if you know what I mean! The toothpaste art is amazing!

I also have this wall hanging quilt top i worked up in october. I still want to quilt it with some stars or swirlys, bind it and all that jazz. This is my first quilt project, i love the wonky star block, it was so easy!

*Let me know if you can see this photo

Ohh, the rainbow mandala! How spectacular is that? I've always wanted to try overlay crochet. Beautiful!

I absolutely though your afghan was a Harry Potter thing jellybean. It looks like a beast of a project. Bet it turns out amazing.

T, we want to come over to your house. Every home-work project you post is incredible.

Audio, I can't see a photo in your last post...

Thanks for starting this, audio! I can't see the photo above either, btw.  Smiley Seeing people's in-progress pics lets everyone share the excitement of the possibilities yet to come!

My WIP for (hopefully only) this winter is a braided area rug. Definitely a necessity project, to warm up the floor and "tie the room together" in the little mid-1800s house I moved into. Modern rugs just wouldn't look right in here.

My workspace on the floor this morning...

Last month I haunted thrift stores for bedsheets, tore everything into connected strips, and braided and braided and braided. Now I'm in the hand-sewing stage, but still have a lot of fabric in case I want the rug bigger.
