I have loved every bit of craftiness this term! So many amazing projects!

I finally have some projects to turn in myself!

Class: Apparation
House: Slytherin
Project Name:Easter Wreath
Project Description: I made an Easter Wreath for the Easter season to welcome us home everyday! I love all the little bunnies...and its definitely for the entrance to our home.
Project Picture:

Class: Astronomy
House: Slytherin
Project Name: Watercolored Cake Painting
Project Description: It has been months and months since I've painted anything. So cracking out the watercolors since the first time since before Thanksgiving was a big deal. I decided to work on some elements of a larger painting that I have rolling around in my head. I started with this watercolor cake. Yummy!
Project Picture:

Class: CoMC
House: Slytherin
Project Name: Bunny Mask
Project Description: Nothing perks me up more than painting a kid craft like these masks! It makes me so happy!
Project Picture:

Class: Divination
House: Slytherin
Project Name: Fire bead necklace
Project Description: I picked out all these beads because they reminded me of fire! I made a necklace and earrings to match
Project Picture:

Class: Flying
House: Slytherin
Project Name: Dragon Amongst the Stars
Project Description: I NEVER work with charcoal but I needed to push myself to do something different and fast! So I worked on a charcoal drawing and just doodled it out. I ended up with something that looks like an abstract dragon floating in space

Class: Care of Magical Creatures
House: Gryffindor!
Project Name & Page Link: Spiced Rum & Strawberry Crumble Coffee Cake

Brief Description: Is there anything that perks you up like the smell of baking fruit and cinnamon?  I had a container of not-yet-bad but not-really-perfect strawberries, and decided to turn them into a treat.
Project Picture:

Challenge: Floo - Cape Verde
House: Gryffindor!
Project Name & Page Link: GS Baskets

Brief Description: One of the things I count myself blessed to have in my life, are my Craftster friends.  These baskets were made for my swap partner in the "Use the Good Stuff" Swap, but as they haven't received them yet, (heck, I'm no where near ready to send the box!) I'm posting a link to the photo instead.  I'll post a link to the pattern and all the yarn info once they have reached their new home, and I do a whole project post in its own thread.

Challenge: Headmistress - May: Goblet of Fire
House: Gryffindor!
Project Name & Page Link: Steak Gyros

Brief Description:  I listen to a lot of pod casts while I'm doing stuff around the house.
The other day Savor, a food podcast, did an episode on Gyros & Shawarma, and I simply HAD to make gyros after listening.  I was compelled by Anney & Lauren!

A new Floo Challenge has been posted....

Pelican Crossing!
A pelican crossing is a type of pedestrian crossing, whose name stands for "pedestrian light controlled crossing".  They feature lights, telling pedestrians when it is safe to cross the street.  They also include a non-visual indication in order to assist the visually impaired, such as a beeping sound.  (If youre still unsure how they work, try listening to the Pelican Crossing Song!)  For this challenge please craft something that includes stripes, zig zags, or chevrons in its design, something that lights up, or something that can make noise.

***Please remember, you have until Midnight tonight, Headmistress Time (CST) , to post the previous Floo Challenge!***

Also please note that this Floo Challenge will be the last one for this Term!

LadybugsandBumblebees: The bunnies on the wreath are made from some form of styrofoam I think. I got them off of a garland from Michael's. They are really lightweight.

Class/Challenge/House Pride: Astronomy
House: Hufflepuff
Project Name: Cow Ami for Jayden
Brief Description: I learned to make amigurumi two years ago when I tore my ACL and needed to occupy my mind so I didn't go crazy on the couch.  At that point, I finished an ami for my youngest niece, then I made one for the middle niece, and finally one for the oldest niece.  (Now I'll probably have to start over at the beginning with the youngest one...).  Taurus is a bull, so I'm definitely representing with this cow ami.
Project Picture:

Class/Challenge/House Pride: February Detention
House: Hufflepuff
Project Name: Green Laney Bag
Brief Description: This is a test bag made from 100% stash, in order to try out the bag pattern I want to use for one of my Love to Do projects.  I also thought that the center panel might be a cool place to try some embroidery in the future.  The picture washes it out quite a bit, it's actually a pretty vibrant green. The pattern is the free Laney Hobo from Swoon Patterns.
