I just taught myself macrame (with the help of some YouTube tutorials)
This one is doing with yarn, because I wanted to use what I had before I went out and bought a bunch of supplies.
I absolutely LOVE it!
I'll be making more as soon as I get to the beach for more driftwood.

This bad boy is approx 4 feet across.

There's not much in this world that can't be improved by either chocolate, bacon or glitter.

Great job! I have been trying to teach myself this art for decades. This has inspired me to go back and revisit it with the help of YouTube. And using yarn is an EXCELLENT idea. Especially to use up some scraps.

I would love to see a bigger picture too.

there we go... Made the picture bigger.

In using the yarn, I used 3 stands of yarn for each "cord"

Yessss! I can see this as the official banner in front of a group in a pride parade, it is so big and fantastic. Plus I've never seen multicolor macrame, and I think I like it exponentially more than the usual off-white variety. Your work itself is beautiful, even without all the color, but make it rainbow and it gets more-awesome.  Smiley

Beautiful! The way you alternate the colors between the small tassels and the long strands really brings it together.
