I have not been crafting for awhile for various reasons.
I truly did not think I could but got the urge last evening and decided to try no matter what the outcome.
I was pleasantly surprised that my body and brain cooperated in making this winter inchie house.

front entrance with welcoming snowperson

side entrance where someone left a sled that Mom wouldn't allow in the house. Bummer.

view of two sides featuring cats. The woodstove pipe is a piece of paper clip with a wad of tinfoil as the top protector

The cat cannot stand the torture of the birds at the feeder so she nudges the window open to wave her paws at them. For this transgression, she will be denied her treat of sardines this evening and she will refuse to speak to Mama because of it.

kitty sitting on the back of the sofa, being a good girl. her tail went straight up when she saw a ginormous person taking her picture.

The inside of this thing is full of tape and prop sticks. For some reason my Modpodge refused to work. I wish I could doctor up the inner bits to look nice when i peep thru the window but i have no idea how. Suggestions much appreciated!!!

Neat little dwelling and I love the stories that you have to go along with the cats (my kitty still gets treats no matter how awful she behaves).  The jutting stove pipe is a neat 3-dimensional touch and the structure looks cool all lit up too.

As far as fixing up the appearance of the interior, assuming the bottom of the house is open, or can be opened, you could make a sleeve, with artwork or attached structures/furniture on it, and slide that up into the interior to cover up the tape and sticks.  You'd have to cut coordinating holes into said sleeve for the windows and doors of course.

I can't believe all the details with stories behind them that you crammed so beautifully onto (and into) such a wee little house!

So charming and creative, especially since it comes with a story!

So dang cute! Not sure how to change the inside, paint and tiny items drawn on other paper and glued in place? It's so great the way it is though, the kitties! Ha ha!
