Hi! It's been a long time since I've posted on craftster but I just had to share the ATCs I've been working on. I love drawing Mandalas. The blackbird is inspired by The Beatles and a little blackbird that lives in a bush on the way to work.

nice work!  I know I'd be happy receiving either of those in an ATC swap!

Great job! Mandalas are really hard for me. How do you keep them so balanced and even? I always end up making a loop or a flourish too big and it throws the whole thing off. These look fantastic!

And I love the blackbird. Very clever design.

Thanks, I use a compass to map out the circles and a ruler to divide up the sections of the circles like a pie, helps to keep things even Smiley

Those look great! Neat idea making the bird out of words. Bird is the word!

The texty bird is really cool, and mandalas are really fun! Thanks for sharing your work with us.

I love these! Putting two partial mandalas coming out from the corners is a really nice composition idea I'd never considered, and I'm going to keep it in mind. I'm also excited about the possibilities in turning lyrics into a relevant shape. Your blackbird is fantastic.
