I picked up Carons's Pantone in Elephant Gray when it was on sale at Michael's for low low price of only 4 mackerels each. I've been eyeballing Purl Soho's Stitch Block Cowl forever!

I'm not sure what my Block 1, Rambler Pattern color will be yet, but I separated my colors and started on Block 2, Checked Rose Fabric:



Since I have significantly less yarn, I only c/o 41, and using a size 8 needle. We'll see how it goes!  I will probably be able to get about 30 total inches, as opposed to the pattern 60, but I think I will like it regardless.
