Willing to personal swap for art of my doggies!

This was what I made for Wulf for the winter book swap that was just run.

I hand carved it from thin stamping making material and it should fit nicely inside a standard paperback - about 3x4"?

Then I felt that just the stamp was not enough, so I added some bookplates made from it, which I added adhesive backing to, and inked and added some hand colouring to.

I am pretty happy how they both turned out.  A bit more about the stamp here, on my blog, and a bit more here, about the bookplates, with some more pics.

There's not much in this world that can't be improved by either chocolate, bacon or glitter.

WOW! What an amazing swap piece! I am a total sucker for bookplates and their stamps and this one is no exception. I have on my TBM list making one for me, after having made a couple for gifts.

Thank you - I hope he does too.  I realized after I made these that what I was crafting was ultimately my happy place - a cozy place to while the night away reading - all that is missing is the cup of tea, a smouldering fireplace, and the sleeping dog at my feet (though I am not in the chair, so really, the dog would have stolen my seat, book or no book).

Actually - not that long.  Once I get into them, I quite like carving stamps and like to try to finish them in one session.  I think it maybe took me 3-4 hours?  That would include some finicky stamping and adjusting.
