Sweet colors BBM!
I'm still working my way through March, never thought I'd get sick of yellow threads but here I am. Couple more days and I should be on to April.

Yahoo! May is here! I think we are finally warming up! I am in love with this month's pattern. The flowers are Lilly of the Valley and Hawthorne.

For those who aren't familiar with Hawthorne-it is so pretty and dainty!

I know some of you like to print out two at one time to save paper so here is June's.

Here's my April! It ended up kind of hard to tell, but some of the sweet peas are purple with pink inner lines and some are pink with purple inner lines. I enjoyed the Eastery color palette. Smiley

I started on May and made a few small alterations - I love it so far!

Very nice, the stitching is really pretty against that background.

Okay, I FINALLY got through March. I'm about halfway through April, but I wanted to post this one because I'm so tired of looking at it, lol. I'm putting it away, charging through the rest of the sweet peas and getting ready to start on May.

I didn't care for how the contrasts came out (since they kinda didn't) but this fabric was my closest approximation to bloodstone, the March birthstone. Also fiddled with the lettering, wound up adding a final touch of a single thread of white just to get them to show up. I actually took a darker picture so you could see them at all. Shrug.

Oh! I really like the yellow against it. They are little little hidden gems.

Thanks Kittykill!

I finished April. Still wishing I had chosen some better contrasts for this and March, but it's done and I'm happy.
I did go back and put some highlights around the letters though. This fabric was the best I could find for a diamond birthstone. Since May is emerald, I'm looking forward to something a little less varied and easier to contrast from.
