Finished the March flowers! Am I the only one who wasn't sure the difference between daffodils and jonquils? I looked it up and they look very similar, but jonquils have more than one flower per stem. I assumed they were the smaller ones in the picture.

Wow! I love the contrast of the flowers against the green fabric. I only knew the difference because I looked it up a long time ago.  Cheesy

This crazy pops!  Great work!

I am very far behind. It's been hooped and ready to stitch for over a month. But I've loved watching everyone share their variations!!

April's pattern is up! It is sweet peas and daisies. I'm excited for this one. There will be more color and not so many straight lines.  It is one the front page also.

Trying to catch up, and I think I'm going to get a light table to help figure out all those daffodil lines. The ones posted so far are lovely! And I still don't understand jonquils.

Ooh, sweet peas are the sweetest!

"Daffodil: This is the official common name for ANY of the plants that fall into the genus Narcissus. So, if the plant is considered a Narcissus, it is also considered a daffodil as well. However, most people use the term daffodil when referring to the large, trumpet-shaped flowers of the Narcissus pseudonarcissus."
