LadybugsAndBumbleBees and I were partnered in the 12 Days of Christmas Swap, and one of her requests was a pillow cover gor her daughter. Her daughter has a gecko named Rainbow, so I knew just what to do! I printed out a gecko outline, sewed together strips to make the colors of the rainbow, then attached it to make the applique and cut it out. I also sewed the raimbow colors into the strips on the sides for added detail. I can't remember if I sewed the pillow cover then added the applique or the other way around. Anyway, I added the applique, and used my Cricut for the "Rainbow is my name and gecko is my game." Inthought that would be perfect for a teen. I had a lot of fun making her swap package, but this was my favorite item!

Awesome, you did a great job!

My sister's kids adopted a bearded dragon with a missing foot (previous owners neglected it) and named it Peggy" because "it had a Peg Leg.
